USA Journey Part I - the beginning
Heute nutze ich mal die Gelegenheit Fotos hochzuladen und ein wenig ueber meinen bisherigen Urlaub zu schreiben. Fangen wir mal vorne an. Als erstes bin ich nach Delft gereist um Emmy zu besuchen! Delft hat mich direkt mit einem ordentlichen Regenschauer begrueßt. Spaeter hat sich das Wetter aber gebessert und ich bin mit Emmy durch die Delfter Altstadt gelaufen und die neue und alte Kirche besucht. Ein echt nette Kleinstadt. Habe eine Hollaenderin in LA getroffen die meinte Delft waere eine Studenten und Fahrrad Stadt. Kann ich besteatigen

today i use the opportunity to upload some photos and write a bit about my vacation. Let’s start in the beginning. First of all i traveled to Delft to visit Emmy! Delft welcomed me directly with heavy rain. Later the wheather was better so we could walk around in the old part of Delft where we visited the old and new church. A really nice town it is. I met a dutch girl in LA which siad Delft is a student and bicycle town. I can second that.

Der Flug nach San Francisco ueber Washington hat super geklappt.
Willkommen! | welcome!
Nachdem wir (Chris ist am selben Tag geflogen) bei Olli angekommen sind haben wir ausser quatschen nicht mehr viel gemacht.(Wir waren beide mehr als 24 Stunden wach) Am Freitag sind wir dann mit dem lokalen Zug nach SF Innenstadt gefahren und haben SF zu Fuß erkundet. Dabei haben wir die Market Street, den Financial District und den Hafen angeschaut. Im Hafen fand das Training der Blue Angels und das Qualifying zum Red Bull Air Race statt. Beides sehr beeindruckende Flugartistik.

After we arrived at Olli’s place (Chris was flying the same day) we just talked for a while and just went to bed. (we where both more than 24 hours awake) On friday we went by local train downtown and explored Sf by feet. So we discovered Market Street, the financial district and the pier. In the harbour there was the training of the Blue Angels and the Red Bull Air Race qualifying. Both very nice flight artistic stuff.
